Multimedia Services
Many of the meeting and event spaces at UMass Boston feature integrated audio visual systems. The technology can be easily utilized by our clients or event support staff. In instances where more advanced multimedia services are required, AV Services at UMass Boston is available to support your conference, meeting or special event.
Our standard built-in services are included in your reservation and may include:
- Podium with fixed microphone
- Projection or LCD screen with PC (windows 10) and HDMI connections
- Network Access (wired or wireless)
- Touchscreen control panels for media, sound, and lighting
For an additional fee, AV Services can provide customized technical support throughout your event.

Video Conference Options
There are a handful of rooms on campus that are equipped with the audio and video equipment required to host a meeting or event with both in-person attendees and attendees connecting virtually. We also have portable equipment enabling us to equip most rooms with video conferencing capabilities. If you are expecting more than 20 in-person attendees, please contact us in advance to discuss options and best practices for planning and setting expectations.
