Biography

Dr. Janna Jackson Kellinger is a Professor in the Curriculum and Instruction department. She began her career in education as a high school English teacher. Her book Unmasking Identities (2007) describes her research with queer teachers. Both her most recent book, Up Your Teaching Game: Creating Story-based Games for K-12 Students and her previous book, A Guide to Designing Curricular Games (2017) lay out processes that teachers can follow to develop their own learning games.
